Oxford Famous for it's turkeys, which resulted in Turkey Days.....
Which came first: This concern is one of the four in the midwest, and distributes poults within a five hundred mile radius. Experimentation with, and the introduction of, the Amerine strain of turkeys from Caifiornia is being conducted by this concern, resulting in turkeys of approximately twice the size of the ordinary turkey. While I'm at it, I should mention that we exported 70 tons of honey from Oxford last year, and heavens knows how many locally rasied minnows.
